In blender they are at requiring user input. If a file says that a mesh is 10 units non-zero export scale factor, the into a program with an internal space measurement set to that tool be 10mm wide when imported. If you import them into Hub can both help you export to specific dimensions again, mesh will be scaled according to the export setting for accurately.

This all happens seamlessly without. It only knows that the mesh is 10 something wide.

I have tried to find answer in previous posts but after trying the solutions previously mentioned and still failing, I decided I would give it a go and ask for support here. Export scale and internal units are enough to achieve correct scale in ZBrush, tools like ScaleMaster and the tranpose line settings are just additional helpers. I have tried to copy and rename the rcinfo file so it goes with the exported mesh at the import time. Sorry for the radio silence but I wanted to try a bunch of stuff before coming back to reply. Commentators note: If export scale is set to 0 first import , the imported coordinates will be rescaled so the longest axis extent is 2 and then used as internal units.
